Phil Healey - DirectorB.Eng(Hons) MSc, MEI, MIEE, FIDCE
Phil has over 20 years T&C Management experience and has worked in Asia since 1994. He is the founder of one of Hong Kong's first multi-discipline energy and T&C management firms, Active Energy Management, with deep competency in low energy mechanical and electrical design, T&C management, energy reduction investigations, turnkey renewable energy installation, low energy industrial and commercial lighting and waste to energy projects. Phil has delivered services to 60+ clients across Asia, Europe and Australasia.
He has an honours degree in Combined Engineering, MSc in Building Services Engineering and HND in Mechanical Engineering, with diverse electrical, mechanical, fire and building services background, beginning originally with the UK Government's Property Service Agency. Previously Phil has also been a Hong Kong Registered Professional Engineer and for around 20 years was a UK Chartered Engineer via the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He remains a member of IEE (now branded IET) and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Data Centre Engineers.
Mike WONG - General ManagerB.A. (Hons.)
Educated at Essex University, England, Mike is fluent in English & Chinese and has over 10 years' Project Management experience leading teams of specialists in construction related projects. He contributes skills in the planning and management of site teams for technically and financially based projects. Within AEM he has had responsibility for HKJC T&C works and previously for our Cathay City Greening project, Cathay Cargo Terminal T&C and for TAL Group's Energy Saving Projects for Mainland China and the South East Asia Region. He has diverse experience and knowledge in this field and understands the managerial issues in directing and controlling technical teams in site roles.
Alvin Zhang – Executive EngineerBEng, MEng, LEED AP, BEAM Pro
Alvin holds Building Services degrees MEng from HK Polytechnic and B.Eng. from Tianjin Institute of Urban Construction, PRC.
Alvin has extensive experience in central chiller plant commissioning management and retro-commissioning including diagnostic investigations. He has overseen the complete renewal and related efficiency optimization in Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Sha Tin and Happy Valley stadia including extensive chilled water retro-commissioning activity. He also provided commissioning management at the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal. Before joining our team he had experience in an independent BMS company and held project responsibility including retrofit of metering, re-commissioning of inverter drives and enhanced AHU controls and energy performance contracting.
