Retro-commissioning (RCx)
We have been “Retro-Commissioning” years before the ‘RCX’ term was used. Today our teams have Hong Kong Green Building Council-accredited RCX Professionals & Practitioners. We believe RCX is important to re-tune and update operational performance of building services installation to economically and safely satisfy indoor environmental and sustainability objectives.
The Retro-commissioning (RCx) scope of works is a systematic, knowledge-based process designed to evaluate and optimize an existing building's performance. Unlike a traditional energy audit that focuses on capital-intensive equipment replacements, RCx targets no-cost or low-cost operational improvements, tuning, and adjustments to existing systems.
